Advent Calendar : Day 12

I'm on the train to London and probably when I'll have back the connection and be able to post this post I'll be already arrived!

(Actually now I'm arrived and I'm here!)

I'm joining my husband that is in London working until the end of the week!

As you already know, yesterday was my last day at work so I thought that there were no point not to pack my little backpack and go to breath the London Christmas feeling for a couple of days!

To be honest I had a perfect plan even for the week end.. but unfortunately my car decide with a perfect timing to give us some problems so I had to cancel my trip to Cotswolds but especially my visit to Federica of Country Kitty!

Federica.. this is a promise.. We will arrange something as soon as we are sure that the car won't leave us in the middle of nothing!

I wanted even give you updates about yesterday evening!It was an amazing evening.. much better of any expectations i've ever had! I was even able to wear high pumps trying to be less low than usual comparing my very tall colleagues!.. Shame I didn't considered they would wear the same.. so I ended with no results!

All my (now former) colleagues made me a very nice surprise turning the Christmas Party in a leaving party just for me! They were so sweet! I came back home with a beautiful Zara necklace, a card full of messages and my heart full of emotions!

For a second I was temped to change my mind about working in Zara but then I remembered myself I can carry on meeting them even without sharing the same work place!

Ok! Now, before to let you enjoy the pictures of this amazing new house, I just want to inform you that it is located in the State of New York. ;)

Sono sul treno diretta a Londra e probabilmente quando riavrò la connessione e potrò postare questo post sarò già arrivata!

(E infatti adesso sono arrivata e sono qui!)

Sto raggiungendo mio marito che è a Londra per lavoro tutta la settimana!

Visto che con ieri ho finito di lavorare valeva proprio la pena fare le valigie e tuffarmi nell'atmosfera natalizia di Londra per qualche giorno!

In realtà avevo un piano perfetto anche per il week end.. ma purtroppo la nostra macchina ci ha abbandonato e ho dovuto rimandare il mio viaggetto nei Cotswolds e soprattutto la mia visita alla dolcissima Federica di Country Kitty!

Federica.. questa è una promessa.. riorganizzeremo appena saremo sicuri che la macchina non ci lasci a piedi nel bel mezzo del nulla!

Volevo anche aggiornarvi sulla serata di ieri sera! E' stata bellissima.. molto meglio di quello che avevo immaginato.. sono persino riuscita a portare dei super tacchi per non sembrare una volta tanto un tappo a confronto del mie colleghe super alte!.. Non ho considerato però che anche loro ieri avrebbero messo i tacchi alti.. quindi praticamente è finita con un nulla di fatto!

Tutti i miei (adesso ex) colleghi mi hanno anche fatto una sorpresa inaspettata trasformando ad un certo punto il Christmas Party di Zara in un leaving party per me! Sono stati tutti così teneri! Sono tornata a casa con una bella collana (Zara ovviamente..!), una cartolina piena di messaggi e il cuore gonfio di commozione.

Per un attimo mi è quasi venuta voglia di stracciare le mie dimissioni.. poi però ho pensato che tutte quelle persone speciali potrò rivederle ancora anche senza necessariamente lavorarci insieme!
